I have come across so many different people with so many different experiences and perspectives that I am in awe of the uniqueness of all the wonderful people I work with.. One of the things I have learned is that the dance of therapy, counselor, and client, is a dance that enters the present and dances into the past and to the future. Time is nothing and everything in the work that we do together. Much like time so are the various relationships that one has had and the stories we create resulting from these relationships. Then, as Bessel Vanderkolk has written “The Body Keeps the Score.” The body is always in the dance. But it is so interesting how so many of us do not even realize where our body is in this dance.
